Playa los Pocillos is at the east end of Puerto del Carmen, just as you are approaching Matagorda.  A sweeping sandy beach which has a surfing school.  This beach has recently had new amenities added. Take the Avenida east from Puerto del Carmen towards the airport.  Playa los Pocillos starts after the hotel San Antonio, and runs for about one kilometre.
